The primary objective of the module is to equipe the academic staff and administrative colleague with the skills needed to cope with some the challenges that lie ahead in the provision of educational activities. In particular, the module will deal with an innovative method based on cost benefit analysis that will provide a double dynamic budget (economic and social) for all the university project proposals. This will allow to understand and calculate the real cost and benefits of the various proposals to help the decision makers on choosing the ones that will have a more positive social and economic impact.
The main training activities, conducted with innovative budgeting methods, will be related to the main elements of cost benefit analysis, including the impact that circularity of the use of resources will have on the budget (that will gain “dynamic” on this process). The participant will use a specific excel file to make all the possible calculations on a dynamic project budget considering externalities (positive and negative) and a dynamic funding related to economic and financial performance of the proposals.
